The Approach

Our approach to the campaign was simple.

  1. Targeting
    We built out detailed search criteria that focused on finding senior developers, with experience, and specific skills that Gun.io was in need of staffing. Throughout the campaign, we would alternate through different skills based upon the trends and needs of Gun.io’s staffing clients.

  2. Simple ask outreach
    Our approach to outreach was simple and casual. Instead of doing a pitch for a new position, we postiioned the messaging around “We find many developers are interested in exploring new technologies. Is this something you would ever be interested in?”

    By tapping into talents core desires to learn new skills, we saw a much higher engagement rate than a direct ask about new positions.

 

The Outcome

The outreach campaign resulted in a massive growth of Gun.io’s talent pool and helped fill key talent gaps that they were struggling to staff before.

 

I get pitched every day, sometimes multiple times per day, on some kind of lead gen service. I was initially skeptical of Lead Cookie because it sounds too good to be true. I thought no way this will work. I was totally wrong. They delivered big time.My network grew like crazy, I got a ton of quality leads (in our case, guests for our podcast that we used later for direct sales). I am really impressed. So few services actually deliver value like Lead Cookie did and I recommend them highly.

However, after an initial ramp-up phase, we generated a monthly $10-15K sales through LinkedIn, all thanks to LeadCookie.
